THE XARA PALACE, Relais & Chateaux, is a fabulous late 17th century property uniquely located within the historic, noble and silent city of Mdina, the old capital city of Malta.

 

The hotel has been meticulously restored to its previous charming ambience. It has also been upgraded and brought up todate in every way promising to be the finest and most unique as well as elegant establishment on the Maltese Islands.

 

The hotel building forms part of the medieval bastions that surround Mdina. The Xara Palace, Relais & Chateaux, is located just a few metres from the main entrance of the walled historical city of Mdina and opened its doors to receive its first guests on the 1st May 1999. It caters for the individual traveller, mini groups as well as corporate travellers.
