This excursion starts with a visit to 'The Great Siege of Malta & The Knights of St John' a unique and stunning audiovisual experience in the very centre of Valletta.

 

It recreates the life and adventures of the Knights of Malta from their foundation in 1099 to the present day.

 

You will travel with the pilgrims in the Holy Land, join the Knights in their historic journey from Jerusalem to Acre, on to Cyprus, Rhodes & Malta.

 

You will meet Grand Master La Valette, Suleiman in his imperial tent, and relive the drama of the Great Siege of 1565.

 

The excursion continues with a visit to Casa Rocca Piccola, a 16th. Century Palace that will give you an insight into Maltese aristocratic tradition and heritage that is unequalled in the capital city of Valletta .

 

Your guided tour includes: The family Chapel, The Library, The Four Postered bedroom, 2 Dining rooms and a further 3 Drawing rooms where you can also see the unique set of 18Th. Century surgical instruments used during the reign of the French Grand Master De Rohan.
